Considering the way these teams have been scoring runs this week at Coors Field (34 between them across the first two games of this series!), and the pitching matchup for tonight, we expect to see something like the last two nights when the floodgates opened. For the Dodgers, Bobby Miller is finally off of the injured list with his shoulder and pitches for the first time in over two months (April 10 the last appearance). Miller, however, wasn't all that good in April (5.40 ERA), and Rockies counterpart Ryan Feltner hasn't been all that good anywhere, or at any time, especially at home with his 6.89 ERA at Coors Field. This scoreline could easily resemble the first two in this midweek set. Play Dodgers-Rockies "Over"
Rockies have had a long season to say the least but Tues night was probably Rock bottom (get it?) allowing 7 to the Dodgers in the 9th to lose handily. They are just 4-10 when Ryan Feltner starts and in his last 3 home starts he has allowed 25 H and 17 ER in 15 1/3 IP. Dodgers seem intent on proving them can still score in bunches even without Mookie Betts. Color me intrigued by Ohtani in the leadoff spot. We don't expect a gem from Bobby Miller but reckon we don't need much from him to cover here, either.
