Usually we don't post 10 minutes before a game, but I'm giving myself a waiver here because the Phillies made a pitching change and downgrade from Taijuan Walker to Ranger Suarez in Game 1. That took me off this total and now on the Padres ML behind Blake Snell and with Bryce Harper and Bryson Stott not in the Philly lineup for the opener of the DH.
Maybe I haven't learned my lesson, but I still believe the Padres can make a run. They started off the second half with an offensive barrage in Philly, getting home runs from Manny Machado, Juan Soto and Fernando Tatis Jr. (also Gary Sanchez!). Blake Snell takes the mound in Game 1 of this doubleheader and he's looked like the Cy Young version of Snell lately. The Padres will take care of business here by multiple runs, so we'll grab that run line (-1.5, +115).
