The Tigers have lost the first two games of this series and are 2-6 on the season. However, this might be the matchup that they need to get back on track. Starting for the Red Sox will be Kutter Crawford, who has a career 6.37 ERA and 1.52 WHIP. He was smoked by the Pirates in his first start this season, allowing seven runs and three home runs across four innings. Last season, he was taken deep 12 times over just 77 1/3 innings. Taking the mound for the Tigers will be Matthew Boyd, who limited the Astros to two runs over 4 1/3 innings in his first start. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Tigers win this game, but I’ll take the cautious approach and just roll with them to cover the run line.
