Tyler Anderson has been dominant this season going 7-0 with a 2.59 ERA. He will face one of the best left-handed hitting teams in the league in the White Sox though. But Anderson actually has very good splits against righties which is important for me because the White Sox will have all righties in the lineup today. Dylan Cease has walked 11 batters in his past two starts and that won’t play against the Dodgers. The White Sox have only won two home series all season and both series were in April in the second week of the season.
I really want to take the White Sox as they do well against lefties and the Dodgers are starting southpaw Tyler Anderson, who is not as good as his 7-0 record and 2.59 ERA would indicate. White Sox starter Dylan Cease (4-2, 3.39 ERA) can dominate ... but also prone to the home run. Honestly, if the White Sox runline was cheaper than the LA moneyline, I was going to back Chicago, but it's not close. Also was going to lean the Sox RL if the Dodgers rested either Mookie Betts or Trea Turner in a getaway game as I thought possible, but not only are both in there Max Muncy has been activated off the injured list. Thus, the Dodgers have essentially their best lineup on the field (other than perhaps Chris Taylor). I can't not take them at only -125.
