World Series Astros vs. Braves odds, lines: Proven model reveals picks for Tuesday's Game 6 matchup

SportsLine's Projection Model has generated picks for Tuesday's World Series Game 6 matchup between the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros

The Houston Astros will look to even up the series at 3-3 when they take on the Atlanta Braves in Game 6 of the 2021 World Series on Tuesday night. Houston rallied from four runs down to defeat Atlanta 9-5 in Game 5. First pitch from Minute Maid Park in Houston is set for 8:09 p.m. ET.

Atlanta is looking to clinch its first World Series title since 1995, when it defeated Cleveland 4-2, while Houston is out to win its first title since defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3 in the 2017 World Series. Right-hander Luis Garcia (11-8, 3.30 ERA) will take the mound for the Astros, while the Braves are expected to start left-hander Max Fried (14-7, 3.04 ERA).

Houston is the -130 favorite (risk $130 to win $100) in the latest Braves vs. Astros odds, while Atlanta is a +120 underdog. The Over-Under for total runs scored is 8.5.

Before making any Braves vs. Astros picks, you NEED to check out the latest 2021 World Series picks and betting advice from the SportsLine Projection Model.

This model, which simulates every game 10,000 times, enters Game 6 of the 2021 World Series with a 209-178 record on top-rated MLB money-line picks, returning over $700. Anyone following it has seen some HUGE returns!

The model knows that first baseman Freddie Freeman has been clutch for Atlanta all season, and his third-inning solo homer in Game 5 of the World Series gave the Braves a 5-4 lead, although Houston would later battle back. Freeman has done it all this postseason, batting .288, including two doubles, four homers and nine RBIs with 12 walks, seven runs scored and one stolen base. He has hits in every game of the series and 10 of 15 playoff games. During the regular season, Freeman batted .300 with 31 homers, 83 RBIs and 120 runs scored.

The model also knows that Houston shortstop Carlos Correa came up big in Game 5, going 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. He is 5-for-19 (.263) in the series with a double and four RBIs. In 15 postseason games this year, Correa is among Houston's top hitters, batting .286 with 10 runs scored, four doubles, one homer and nine RBIs. He has also drawn six walks. Entering the series, he was a .444 hitter against the Braves with two doubles, one homer and five RBIs.
