UFC 208: Why Holly Holm will finish Germaine de Randamie early

MMA oddsmaker and SportsLine expert Hugh Citron says Germaine de Randamie lacks Holly Holm's experience under the bright lights of a pay-per-view main event.

What: UFC 208, Holm vs. de Randamie

    When: Sat., Feb. 11

    Where: Barclays Center, Brooklyn

    Times: Prelims 8 p.m. ET on FS1; Main card 10 p.m. ET on Pay-Per-View

Odds: Holm (Even), de Randamie (-130)

We hit one out of three last Saturday, leaving us 5-5 in 2017.

This Saturday, UFC 208 gives us the inaugural Women's Featherweight title fight between Germaine de Randamie and former Women's Bantamweight champion Holly Holm.

Holm shocked the MMA world by knocking out previously undefeated Ronda Rousey in the second round back in November 2015. She is surprisingly the underdog in this title fight.

Holm has lost her last two fights, but a decision loss to Valentina Shevchenko doesn't look too bad considering what Shevchenko did by finishing Julianna Peña in the second round two weeks ago.

Germaine de Randamie has won her last two fights by KO but doesn't have the same experience as Holm under the bright lights of a PPV main event. Take Holly Holm at even money to win; she'll probably KO de Randamie early in the fight.

    Pick: Holm (Even)

Also on the card, we have an intriguing Middleweight fight between Derek Brunson (-150) and former champion Anderson Silva (+120).

Silva, quite possibly the greatest MMA fighter of all time, is 41 and his best days are behind him.

Brunson -- who had a five-fight winning streak, four by KO -- lost his last fight in November to Robert Whittaker, getting knocked out in the first round. Brunson may have been a little overconfident, and I'll give him a pass as I still see a lot of upside in his game.

Unfortunately for great, aging fighters like Silva, fights against up-and-comers haven't been too kind to them.

Go back to last month and take a look at the beating B.J. Penn took from a real good young fighter in Yair Rodriguez.

Take Derek Brunson (-150) and get this one early. I can only see this price going up closer to fight time.

    Pick: Brunson (-150)
