UConn vs. Xavier odds, line: Proven model reveals college basketball picks for Feb. 11, 2022, Big East Conference battle

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Friday's Big East matchup between the UConn Huskies and Xavier Musketeers

A pair of ranked teams square off when the No. 24 UConn Huskies take on the No. 25 Xavier Musketeers in a key Big East Conference matchup on Friday night. The Huskies (16-6, 7-4) have won six of eight, while the Musketeers (16-7, 6-6) are 11-3 on their home court this season.

Tipoff from Cintas Center in Cincinnati is set for 7 p.m. ET. Xavier is favored by one point at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is set at 138.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any UConn vs. Xavier picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of over $2,300 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Musketeers are led by junior forward Jack Nunge, a transfer from Iowa, who leads the team in scoring at 12.7 points per game and is coming off a team-high 22 points at Seton Hall on Wednesday. Nunge was red hot from the field, connecting on 9 of 12 shots. He had a 13-point, 12-rebound game against Marquette on Dec. 18. It was his third double-double of the season and sixth in his collegiate career. He posted a 23-point game at DePaul on Jan. 19 on 7 of 10 shooting, including 2 of 3 from 3-point range, to go with six rebounds.

The model also knows that six Huskies are averaging 7.1 points or better, led by senior guard R.J. Cole, who is averaging 16 points, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He is nearly automatic at the free throw line, connecting on 89 percent of his foul shots. Cole scored nine points in the win over Marquette, but has had two 25-point efforts over the past four games. He has reached double-digit scoring in 18 games, including a season-high 26 points in a 70-63 overtime win over VCU on Nov. 26.

Now, it has set its sights on UConn vs. Xavier. It is leaning Over on the total and it also says one side of the spread has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
