CBS SPORTS: TAKEAWAYS FROM PACKERS WIN OVER BEARS
The Seahawks might be the most perplexing team through three weeks.
After a hard-fought 17-9 loss to the Packers, the Seahawks’ defense led the way in a 12-9 squeaker over the 49ers.
Then last week, the offense finally came alive but the defense flopped in a 33-27 defeat to the Titans, dropping them to 1-2.
SPORTSLINE: COWBOYS-RAMS FINAL SCORE PROJECTION
Statistically, Seattle is a team of contradictions.
The defense allows yards but not points, averaging 346 yards against (23rd in the NFL) but only 19.7 points (8th).
Meanwhile, the offense ranks a respectable 15th in yards (323.3) but is only 26th when it comes to scoring (16.0).
Jacoby Brissett ran for two TDs and tossed a third as the Colts picked up their first win, holding off the Browns 31-28.
One week after a narrow 16-13 overtime defeat to Arizona -- Brissett tossed an INT in the extra time – Indy was able to close things out, though it nearly blew a 28-3 lead.
''Another week, you get a lot more comfortable,'' Brissett said. ''You get to learn from the mistakes you make. I was a lot more, at ease, I would say. It's something I'm still getting used to, but it definitely felt a lot more comfortable (against Cleveland).''
The Colts will get a boost this week from the return of two-time Pro Bowl corner Vontae Davis, expected to make his season debut this week after a groin injury sidelined him a month ago.
SportsLine simulated the game 10,000 times, and projects Russell Wilson passes for 268 yards and 1.92 TDs, with Doug Baldwin catching 5.4 passes for 64 yards. Brissett throws for 228 yards, and T.Y. Hilton gets 70 yards receiving.
