Oklahoma vs. Tulane lines, odds: Advanced computer model locks in picks for Saturday's season opener

The SportsLine Projection Model, which is on a 57-37 run on all top-rated college football picks, has simulated the clash between the Sooners and Green Wave 10,000 times. Here are the results

As a result of the damage in New Orleans created by Hurricane Ida last Sunday, the second-ranked Oklahoma Sooners will play their 2021 season opener on their own field Saturday as they host the Tulane Green Wave, who still will be designated as the home team. Kickoff from Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla. is set for noon ET. The Sooners are 31.5-point favorites in the latest Oklahoma vs. Tulane odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under for total points scored is 67.5. Before you make any Tulane vs. Oklahoma picks and college football predictions, see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of more than $3,600 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It also enters Week 1 of the 2021 season on a 57-37 run on all top-rated college football picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen huge returns.

The Sooners went 9-2 last season and finished as the sixth-ranked team in the nation after defeating Iowa State 27-21 in the Big 12 Conference championship game and trouncing No. 10 Florida 55-20 in the 2020 Cotton Bowl Classic. Oklahoma has won four straight season openers and 10 of its last 11 while going 15-0 in its first home game of the year since losing to TCU in 2005. Redshirt sophomore quarterback Spencer Rattler is coming off a season in which he completed 67.5 percent of his passes for 3,031 yards and 28 touchdowns with seven interceptions in 11 games.

Tulane posted a 6-6 record in 2020 as it finished the regular season by winning four of its final five games before suffering a 38-27 loss to Nevada in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Quarterback Michael Pratt had a solid year as a freshman, throwing for 1,806 yards and 20 touchdowns with eight interceptions in 10 contests while also rushing for 229 yards and eight scores.

Now the model has simulated Oklahoma vs. Tulane 10,000 times, and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is projecting Over 67.5 total points, and it has generated a point-spread pick that is hitting in over 60 percent of simulations. You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in your own picks.
