Odds updated on Ndamukong Suh 2018 destination
Ndamukong Suh's entry into the free agent market presents quite the quandary for teams.
The talented defensive tackle was released by the Dolphins by Thursday.
Suh is one of the most-disruptive defenders in the game. On the field antics aside -- he's had antics that one could easily label "dirty" -- Suh immediately becomes the most-coveted non-QB on the market.
Suh is a three-time All-Pro and a still supreme talent, but his reputation will give some contending teams pause. It's a big reason, along with cap issues, the Dolphins are moving on.
Contenders may balk at adding a potential locker-room distraction. Young, building teams may not want to deal with that, either. That said, no defensive tackle can disrupt an offense like Suh.

SportsLine's oddsmakers have set the odds on where Suh ends up:
Which team will Ndamukong Suh play for in 2018?
Seattle Seahawks 3/1
Oakland Raiders 5/1
New Orleans Saints 8/1
Tennessee Titans 8/1
Dallas Cowboys 8/1
New York Jets 9/1
Los Angeles Rams 10/1
Indianapolis Colts 10/1
Cleveland Browns 12/1
Tampa Bay Bucs 12/1
Field 5/1
Suh, 31, has been a menace in the trenches, averaging 5.2 sacks and 60 tackles in his three seasons in Miami, but that isn't what the Dolphins were hoping for when they inked him to a six-year, $114 million megadeal.

Pro Football Focus analytics rated him the No. 2 interior lineman against the run in 2017.
For what it's worth, ESPN reports that Suh is more interested in money than he is in joining a title contender.
PICK: Teams are reaching out to Suh, including the Seahawks, who have already had productive correspondence. Suh is an Oregon native, and a return to the Pacific Northwest may be enticing.
That said, the Seahawks reportedly got rid of Michael Bennett as part of a "quieting down" to improve a divisive locker room atmosphere. Adding Suh doesn't seem to fit that narrative.
So we're looking at teams on the cusp of being competitive with ample cap space that will take the risk of signing someone that's had issues, but can absolutely bring it on the field.
The Rams could be a good landing spot. They're seemingly close to being a Super Bowl contender in the NFC, are in mediocre position cap space but could make it work.
But for now, the Seahawks are in the driver's seat. Cap space may put an end to that, but I'll go with the team and player making it work. Take Seattle.
