Two powerhouses in the Big Ten square off Saturday as the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes host the seventh-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions. Ohio State (6-0, 3-0) has won six straight overall meetings with Penn State (6-0, 3-0), seven of the last 10 when both teams are ranked in the top 10 nationally and five of the last seven when both are undefeated. The Buckeyes are coming off a 41-7 victory at Purdue, while the Nittany Lions routed UMass 63-0 last weekend.

Kickoff at Ohio Stadium in Columbus is set for noon ET. The Buckeyes are 4.5-point favorites in the latest Ohio State vs. Penn State odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 45.5. Ohio State is a -192 favorite (risk $192 to win $100) on the money line (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college football odds page).

Before you make any Penn State vs. Ohio State picks or college football predictions, you NEED to see the predictions from SportsLine's proven computer model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Since its inception, it has generated a stunning profit of more than $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Ohio State, which hopes to have top running back TreVeyon Henderson back from an ankle injury, is no stranger to good starts as it has won its first six games for the ninth time in the last 12 seasons. The Buckeyes haven't had much trouble with top-10 teams of late, winning 15 of the last 20 meetings -- including six of the past seven at home. Opponents have not experienced success at Ohio Stadium in recent years as the Buckeyes have won 39 of their last 41 home contests.

The model also is aware that Penn State is riding an 11-game winning streak, its longest since also posting 11 consecutive victories from 1998-99. Each triumph during the current run has been by at least 14 points, the longest such streak in school history, and the Nittany Lions have scored 30 or more in 13 straight contests. Despite its struggles in the all-time series, Penn State is tied with Purdue and Michigan for the most wins against Ohio State since 2000 with five.

Now, the model has set its sights on Saturday's Ohio State vs. Penn State matchup. We can tell you it is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits well over 50% of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks!
