NFL Week 1 Bills vs. Jets line, odds: New York expert releases pick for Monday Night Football showdown

R.J. White, who is 43-27-2 on his last 72 picks involving the New York Jets, has released his spread pick for the Monday Night Football game between the Jets and Buffalo Bills

The New York Jets will host the Buffalo Bills in the first Monday Night Football game of the season. The Jets went 7-10 last year and missed the playoffs for the 12th straight year. Buffalo went 13-3 en route to another AFC East title. The Bills ended up falling 27-10 to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Divisional Round.

Kickoff at MetLife Stadium is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. Buffalo is a two-point favorite in the latest Bills vs. Jets odds on the SportsLine consensus, and the over/under for total points scored is set at 45.5.

Before you make your Bills vs. Jets picks or NFL bets, make sure you check out the Monday Night Football predictions from SportsLine NFL expert R.J. White.

White, a Fantasy and gambling editor for CBS Sports, consistently crushes NFL against-the-spread picks and went 535-450-30 from 2017-22, which returned more than $3,500 to $100 players. He also closed the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 107-80-6 run on his last 193 against-the-spread and total NFL picks, returning more than $1,800 for $100 bettors.

Moreover, White has a read on the pulse of the Jets. In fact, he is an INSANE 43-27-2 (+1322) on his last 72 picks in games involving New York! Anyone who has followed him is way up.

White knows MetLife Stadium will be electric with this being the debut of new quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He was traded to New York in April and looks to reenergize the team and fan base. The four-time MVP joins the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, Garrett Wilson, amongst others on offense.

White also knows Buffalo has one of the top quarterbacks in the league in Josh Allen. The 27-year-old tossed 4,283 yards with 35 passing touchdowns. He also ran for 762 yards and seven touchdowns. This offensive group involves All-Pro receiver Stefon Diggs with Gabe Davis, Dawson Knox, and first-round pick Dalton Kincaid.

Now, White has locked in another confident against-the-spread pick for Bills vs. Jets. We can tell you he's leaning under the point total, but he knows a crucial X-factor makes one side of the spread a MUST-BACK! You ABSOLUTELY need to see what it is before locking in any picks of your own.
