The tale of this postseason is he who protects the football best advances. Playing at home has tended to be pretty significant with one major exception, as the upstart Commanders thrashed a wounded Detroit defense. But Jayden Daniels has protected the ball all season and the Chiefs have gone half a season without a turnover, and while I am well aware the Bills have just eight turnovers all season, playing at Arrowhead in January is just a very different ask.

I'm making a few small calculated bets early in this cycle. Injuries always play a part in all of this and I am weighing the potential cost of line movement as we get more information on the extent of some injuries to key Eagles players in particular. Also, for Buffalo, losing safety Taylor Rapp and being forced to put smaller, less impactful safeties on the field against the best playoff quarterback of all time sounds like a potential problem to me.
