Kings vs. Mavericks line, picks: Advanced computer NBA model releases selections for Saturday matchup

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Saturday's matchup between the Sacramento Kings and the Dallas Mavericks

The Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks meet in an early evening matchup at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday. Dallas is favored by seven points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 225 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page).

Before making any Kings vs. Mavericks picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 19 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 71-44 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning over $2,100. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Kings are scoring 110.0 points per game, an above-average figure in the NBA this season. Sacramento is in the top five of the NBA in free-throw attempts, averaging 22.8 per game, and the Kings attack the rim effectively. The Kings are in the top five of the league in points in the paint (49.2 per game), and Sacramento's defense also has edges. The Kings are in the top 10 of the NBA in free-throw prevention, and Dallas is in the bottom five in second-chance points, points in the paint, and fast-break points this season.

The model also knows the Mavericks are playing very well recently. Dallas is 21-7 since Jan. 1, led by the league's No. 2 defense over that sample. The Mavs are giving up only 1.06 points per possession in the last two months and, for the season, Dallas is No. 2 in the NBA in 3-pointers allowed (10.8 per game). Dallas is also in the top eight of the league in 3-point percentage allowed, assists allowed, defensive rebound rate and free-throw attempts allowed.

Now, it has set its sights on Kings vs. Mavericks. We can tell you the model is leaning under the total, and it also says one side of the spread has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
