Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley odds, picks: Boxing insider releases predictions for Aug. 29 fight

CBS mixed martial arts and boxing analyst Brandon Wise has just released his picks for Sunday's showdown

The crossover boxing genre takes the spotlight Sunday night as Jake Paul, the social media influencer turned professional boxing curiosity, takes on former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in an eight-round featured bout. The pay-per-view card is slated for an 8 p.m. ET start from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.

Paul (3-0) has seen interest in his boxing career skyrocket ever since he knocked out former UFC fighter Ben Askren in the first round of their April fight. He stands to face more resistance against Woodley, who was known for his power punching on his way to a decorated UFC career that included a nearly three-year reign as welterweight champion. Woodley is making his pro boxing debut.

Paul is listed as a -190 favorite (risk $190 to win $100), while Woodley is offered at +160 (risk $100 to win $160) in the latest Caesars Sportsbook boxing odds for Paul vs. Woodley. Before making any picks of your own for Paul vs. Woodley, make sure you see the boxing predictions from SportsLine insider Brandon Wise.

Wise, who is the combat sports editor for CBS Sports, is an experienced boxing analyst. His strong 2021 boxing record includes nailing the outcome of the much-anticipated fight between Paul and Askren. Wise told SportsLine members to expect an early knockout from Paul (-170), who delivered with a first-round overhand right against the hapless Askren (+150), who visibly stumbled after taking the referee's count. Anyone who has followed Wise's combat sports picks has seen massive returns.

What's more, Wise also has been on point with his UFC predictions. He called Israel Adesanya by decision at +140 and Brandon Moreno to win outright at +190 at UFC 263 earlier this summer.

For Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley, we can tell you Wise likes the fight to go Under 3.5 rounds (-110) but he has a much more confident play on a method of victory prop that returns plus money! You ABSOLUTELY need to see Wise's picks before making any of your own!
