Golf Picks: Dean & Deluca Invitational winners and DFS roster

Who are the best plays this week in Fort Worth at the Dean & Deluca Invitational? Our Robby Kalland shares his best bets and his daily fantasy lineup.

The Texas swing of the PGA Tour schedule concludes at storied Colonial Country Club for the Dean & Deluca Invitational.

The field is relatively week, with Jordan Spieth and Adam Scott as the clear top dogs in the field. Spieth is the heavy favorite at 13/2, but he's battling a two-way miss right now that caused him to bomb out last week at the Byron Nelson on Sunday.

Here are my picks for this week's stop off in Fort Worth as well as a daily fantasy roster.

My Foursome

Charley Hoffman (25/1): Hoffman has a win in Texas this season and has four top 14 finishes in his last five events, including a T12 last week at the Byron Nelson. He's in great form and loves playing golf in Texas, so I'll take him as my "favorite" to win in my foursome this week.

Patrick Reed (33/1): I think this is the best value on the board. Reed skipped last week after missing the cut at The Players, but in his last two starts in the state of Texas he's finished solo-second and T10. For his skill level, with this soft of a field, 33/1 seems like he's being undervalued by oddsmakers.

Colt Knost (35/1): Knost is on fire of late with a T3 at The Players and a T4 last week at the Byron Nelson. He's just looking to keep rolling on this heater and I'm going to stick with him until he stops contending.

Kevin Kisner (80/1): Kisner has missed his last two cuts, but he finished T5 here a year ago and at the start of this season there wasn't a hotter golfer on Tour. I'm thinking a week off last week, a weak field and a return to a comfortable course is just what he needs to get his game right and contend again.

My DFS Roster

Robby's Daily Fantasy Roster is based off of a standard $50,000 game on DraftKings

Patrick Reed ($10,000): Reed has dominated Texas this season and he just feels due for a win. He's got too much game and if there were ever a field to take advantage of it's this one, where the favorite is dealing with serious swing issues.

Bill Haas ($8,700): Haas didn't play here last year, but put up a T21 finish in 2014. He's hit a bit of a rough patch recently, but he was rock steady up until the beginning of May with eight top 25 finishes on the season.

Colt Knost ($8,300): He's coming off of back-to-back top 5 finishes and was T10 here last year. Pretty easy choice for me to scoop him up at this price.

Kevin Kisner ($8,000): Kisner needs to find his form, but he's comfortable on this course and we saw early in the season what he's capable of. Let's see if he can get back on track this week.

Ian Poulter ($7,700): Poulter has not been particularly good this year and is coming off of a missed cut at the Byron Nelson, but he needs a good finish and was T5 here last year. I'm going to take a stab at it here and hope he can put together four solid rounds for one of the first times all season.

William McGirt ($7,000): That's right, baby, back on the McGirt train. T33 here last year and T21 in 2014 for Billy Boy and for the value you can't do much better than him at $7,000 on a week-to-week basis (12-of-16 cuts made and 4 top 10s).
