Fantasy Football: Week 6 waiver wire breakdown
Finding the perfect addition to your Fantasy team via the waiver wire can be the difference between winning your league or going home with nothing. And before you determine which players you should target on the waiver wire this week, you absolutely need to see what SportsLine's Pat Fitzmaurice has to say.
Fitzmaurice finished second in FantasyPros' 2017 rankings accuracy contest and received a 2017 Fantasy Sports Writers Association nomination for best football series. He's crushed other experts when given the chance and knows what it takes to win a league.
Now, he's done an in-depth analysis of the best widely available free agents entering Week 6. One we'll give away: Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu.
"Sanu has 10 catches for 184 yards and a touchdown over his past two games, as well as two TD catches over his last three games," Fitzmaurice told SportsLine. "With Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley around, Sanu could get caught in a target squeeze in any given week. (He had six catches for 37 yards in Weeks 1-2, for instance.) But the Falcons have a sleek offense, and they have a great matchup against a Tampa Bay defense that yielded six TD passes to Mitch Trubisky in Week 4 before going on bye in Week 5."
Fitzmaurice is also recommending a shocking quarterback who gets a highly favorable matchup this week. Anyone who adds this player could hit it BIG.
