The first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff champion is close to being revealed, as No. 7 Notre Dame takes on No. 8 Ohio State on Monday, Jan. 20, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Both the Fighting Irish and Buckeyes have won three playoff games to earn the right to compete for the title, and Monday's clash pits two of college football's most prestigious programs against one another. 

Ryan Day's Buckeyes enter the game as 8.5-point favorites after compiling resounding victories over Tennessee, Oregon and Texas en route to Monday's showdown against Marcus Freeman's Fighting Irish, who have beaten Indiana, Georgia and Penn State to qualify for the title game.
