DraftKings promo code for Kansas City vs. Philadelphia: How to get $200 in bonus bets

Learn about the latest promo code for DraftKings, along with a preview for Philadelphia vs. Kansas City

Are you interested in the DraftKings new user promo ahead of a historic rematch on the NFL's biggest stage? Kansas City is trying to become the first NFL team ever to win three consecutive titles in the modern era, while Philadelphia is hoping to avoid being on the losing end of a championship to Kansas City once again like it was in 2023. The two foes will square off on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Kansas City has won nine straight playoff games, including defeating Houston 23-14 in the 2025 divisional round and Buffalo 32-29 in the 2025 AFC Championship Game. New England holds the all-time record with 10 consecutive postseason wins from 2001-05. Philadelphia's path to reaching the title game featured a 22-10 victory against Green Bay in the wild-card Round, a 28-22 triumph over Los Angeles in the divisional round and a 55-23 romp over Washington in the NFC Championship Game.

Back in 2023, Kansas City overcame a 10-point halftime deficit and won a 38-35 championship thriller over Philadelphia. This time around, Kansas City is a 1.5-point favorite and the total is 48.5 points. Kansas City is a -123 money-line favorite (wager $123 to win $100) on SportsLine's consensus odds, whereas Philadelphia is a +104 underdog (wager $100 to win $104). Kansas City's over/under for total team points is 24.5 (-108/-112).

DraftKings Sportsbook sign-up promo vs. other current welcome promotions

The DraftKings welcome bonus gives users the opportunity to build their bankroll with a relatively modest initial investment. However, other sportsbook promotions are offering much larger bonus bets if you're willing to place a higher stake on your first wager. For example, BetMGM is offering up to $1,500 in bonus bets. Among other sportsbooks with smaller first wagers to access their welcome offer, FanDuel has a similar bet $5, get $200 structure.

Philadelphia vs. Kansas City picks and more to know

  • Kickoff time Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET
  • Spread Chiefs -1.5
  • Money lines Chiefs -130, Eagles +110
  • Total 48.5

Patrick Mahomes made history the last time the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl two years ago. Despite reaggravating his ankle sprain in the first half, Mahomes still became the first quarterback ever to finish with 3+ passing touchdowns without committing a turnover or taking a sack in the Super Bowl. That effort earned him his second Super Bowl MVP and Mahomes can join Michael Jordan (6), Tom Brady (5) and LeBron James (4) as the only NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL players with 4+ championship MVPs if he's awarded it again at Super Bowl LIX.

After the Chiefs defeated the Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game, Mahomes picked up his 17th playoff win—the second-most ever for any starting QB. He would tie Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana for the second-most Super Bowl titles (4) among any starting QB with a victory over the Eagles, only trailing Tom Brady (7). Mahomes would also have the same number of championships as all other active starting QBs in the NFL combined (Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford and Joe Flacco each have one).

On the other side, the Eagles will likely go as far as Saquon Barkley takes them. The star tailback set an Eagles record with 2,005 rushing yards in his first regular season in Philadelphia. He's continued to roll in the postseason after tallying 442 rushing yards in the team's three playoff games, including 118 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns against the Commanders in a 55-23 win in the NFC Championship.

Will Barkley be the running back who ends the position's 27-year drought for Super Bowl MVP? The last tailback to win the award was Terrell Davis in 1998, as his 157 rushing yards and three touchdowns led the Denver Broncos to a 31-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII. Davis also holds the record with 2,476 rushing yards in a single season (regular season and postseason) in the 1998-99 campaign. With Barkley sitting at 2,447 rushing yards, he just needs 30 to take over the top spot on that list.

SportsLine Experts R.J. White, Larry Hartstein, Jason La Canfora, Matt Severance, Prop Bet Guy, Jeff Hochman, Sia Nejad and Jimmie Kaylor have already shared their top Super Bowl LIX bets, and the SportsLine Projection Model says one side of the spread hits well over 50% of the time.
