The Colorado Buffaloes seek their second straight conference victory when they host the Stanford Cardinal in a Pac-12 matchup on Friday. Colorado (4-2, 1-2) ended its eight-game losing streak during conference play last week as they posted a 27-24 victory at Arizona State. Stanford (1-4, 0-3) looks to avoid an identical skid as it dropped its seventh consecutive Pac-12 contest last time out, falling 42-6 to Oregon. The teams have split their first 12 meetings, with the Buffaloes winning the last three. Travis Hunter is expected to play for Colorado after missing three games with a lacerated liver.
Kickoff at Folsom Field in Boulder, Col. is set for 10 p.m. ET. The Buffaloes are 12.5-point favorites in the latest Colorado vs. Stanford odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 59.5. Colorado is a -502 favorite and Stanford is listed at +373 on the money line (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college football odds page).

The model knows Colorado is seeking its first five-win season since 2019 after going 1-11 last season. Six different players have 14 or more receptions, with wideout Xavier Weaver topping the club with 43 for 507 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The model also is aware that Stanford has struggled mightily against conference opponents of late, losing 17 of its last 18 matchups. The Cardinal have lost four in a row overall, allowing at least 30 points in three of the defeats. Prior to its three-game losing streak in the all-time series, Stanford recorded five consecutive victories against Colorado -- including two at Boulder in which it outscored the Buffaloes 90-10.
