College football odds, lines, spreads: Picks, predictions, betting advice for Week 0, 2024 from proven model

The SportsLine Projection Model, which has generated well over $2,000 for $100 college football bettors since its inception, has revealed its college football picks for Week 0

The 2024 college football season begins on Aug. 24 with the Week 0 college football schedule. There are a pair of FBS matchups in Week 0, starting with Georgia Tech vs. Florida State in Dublin, Ireland. The Seminoles vs. Yellow Jackets game kicks off at noon ET, with Florida State favored by 10.5 points in the latest Week 0 college football odds. Saturday's later FBS vs. FBS matchup features Nevada vs. SMU (-27.5) at 8 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network. The Mustangs have won five straight season openers, while Nevada is 6-1 in its last seven games played in August.

Before making any college football picks for those games or others in Week 0, be sure to see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Since its inception, it has generated a profit of well over $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It is also coming off a profitable 13-9 season on top-rated spread picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen STRONG returns!

Now, it has studied the latest college football odds (see the latest college football lines for each matchup this week on our college football odds page), simulated every single play for every Week 0 game, and the results are in.

One of the college picks the model is high on during Week 0: Florida State and Georgia Tech stay under 55.5 points on Aug. 24 at noon ET. The Seminoles went under the total in four of their final six games last season, and these teams have gone under in six of their last 10 head-to-head meetings. Florida State has one of the best defensive lines in college football, bringing in Georgia transfer Marvin Jones Jr. and Miami transfer Darrell Jackson. Georgia Tech hired defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci, who coached the top-ranked scoring defense in the ACC at Duke last season.

The model has also made the call on who wins and covers in both FBS matchups, including two spread picks that hit well over 60% of the time!

So which college football teams should you back in Week 0? And which spreads hit well over 60% of the time? ... Join SportsLine now to see who wins and covers every single game, all from the model that has returned well over $2,000 in profit on top-rated ATS picks since its inception!
