College football expert picks, predictions, parlay for Week 6, 2023: Barrett Sallee's three best bets
When it comes to college football, there are few who deserve the "expert" tag quite like Barrett Sallee. The CBS Sports writer and analyst hosts shows on SiriusXM College, writes for CBSSports.com and appears regularly on CBS Sports HQ as well as countless radio shows across the nation as a guest.Â
Now, he's turned his attention to the Week 6 college football odds (see the latest college football lines for each game this week on our college football odds page) and is revealing his three top plays for Saturday. A parlay of these three picks would return around 6-1!
We can tell you Sallee is backing No. 17 Miami (-20) to cover against Georgia Tech in an ACC matchup at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Hurricanes are 3-0 ATS against FBS teams this season, while Georgia Tech is coming off an ugly loss to Bowling Green. Miami has won 10 of its last 13 against the Yellow Jackets as well.
"The Hurricanes are 3-0 against the spread against FBS opponents this year, and their perfect season will continue this weekend against a wretched Yellow Jackets squad," he said. "The Jackets haven't found their offensive identity, and Miami's defense has created chaos in every game this season. Even if this game is close for a half - which is unlikely - Miami will pull away in the second half for an easy cover."
Sallee has also found two other college football picks he loves, including backing a Group of Five underdog he says can cover and win outright! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any college football picks.
