Atlanta is one of two remaining unbeaten teams after just three weeks (along with Kansas City), but the Falcons are two plays from being 1-2.
Dropped passed by the Bears in the final moments gave the Falcons a 23-16 road win to open, and last week, a disputed instant replay ruling and a bizarre NFL rule allowed Atlanta to escape with a 30-26 victory.

Atlanta outgained Detroit 428-324, but three interceptions by Matt Ryan kept the Lions in the game. Ryan still tossed for 294 yards, and Devonta Freeman was effective, rushing for 106 yards and a TD.
Atlanta’s offense ranks No. 4 in the NFL with 388 yards per game and No. 5 at 29 points per game.
It faces a key test in Buffalo, which is allowing only 12.3 points per game, best in the league.
This will be the toughest test for each team-leading unit.
The Bills’ defense bent but didn’t break against the Broncos, allowing 366 yards but only 16 points in a 26-16 home win.
SportsLine simulated the game 10,000 times, and projects Ryan to throw for 292 yards and 1.70 TDs and Julio Jones to catch 6.7 passes for 106 yards. Tyrod Taylor passes for 186 yards and 1.16 TDs and LeSean McCoy runs 16.2 times for 76 yards for the Bills.
