Air Force vs. Army odds, line: Advanced college football computer model reveals picks for Saturday's showdown

SportsLine's projection model has generated selections for the 2022 Commanders' Classic matchup between the Falcons and Black Knights

The Air Force Falcons attempt to win their 21st Commander-in-Chief's Trophy when they take on the Army Black Knights in the 2022 Commanders' Classic on Saturday. Air Force (5-3) took the first step toward claiming the award for the first time since 2016 with a 13-10 victory over Navy on Oct. 1. Army (3-4) last captured the trophy in 2020 and retained it by virtue of a three-way tie in last year's series. Both teams have been idle since Oct. 22, when the Falcons suffered a 19-14 loss to Boise State and the Black Knights posted a 48-24 triumph against UL Monroe.

Kickoff at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Tex. is set for 11:30 a.m. ET. The Falcons are 7-point favorites in the latest Air Force vs. Army odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total points scored is 40.5. Saturday's game can be seen live on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Before making any Army vs. Air Force picks or college football predictions, you NEED to see the predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past six-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Air Force leads the all-time series with a 37-18-1 record but has lost four of its last five meetings with Army. The Falcons, who reside in the Mountain West Conference, have gone 7-1 against non-conference opponents over the last two seasons - including a 3-0 mark this year. Air Force leads the nation in rushing with an average of 336.8 yards, with senior running back Brad Roberts ranking ninth in the country at 117.9 per game.

The model also knows Army's ground attack is just as potent as it is averaging 334.6 yards to rank second nationally. Three players have run for over 300 yards - including senior quarterback Tyhier Tyler, who has gained 316 and leads the Black Knights with six rushing touchdowns. Fellow senior signal-caller Jemel Jones has started the last two games for Army, rushing for 209 yards and five TDs in those contests.

Now, the model has set its sights on Air Force vs. Army. We can tell you it is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits over 50% of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks, and don't forget to stream on Paramount+!
