2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta odds, picks: Proven model reveals projected leaderboard, surprising PGA golf predictions
The PGA Tour heads to Vidanta Vallarta in Mexico for the 2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta this week. Tony Finau is the defending champion and he enters this week's event as the 13-2 favorite according to the latest 2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta odds. Finau is followed by Nicolai Højgaard (16-1) and Emiliano Grillo (18-1) on the PGA odds board.Â
We simulated the 2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta 10,000 times, and there are some MAJOR surprises. Join SportsLine here to see the model's shocking projected leaderboard.
Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up more than $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.
McClure's model included Hideki Matsuyama in its best bets to win the 2024 Genesis Invitational. That bet hit at +9000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,000!
The model also predicted Jon Rahm would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. At the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scottie Scheffler winning in 2022.
In addition, McClure's best bets included Nick Taylor (70-1) to win the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, Jason Day (17-1) winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, and Rickie Fowler (14-1) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.
This same model has also nailed a whopping 10 majors entering the weekend! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns! Join SportsLine now to see the model's shocking Mexico Open picks from 10,000 simulations!
The Mexico Open, now in its third edition, will be played at Vidanta Vallarta, a par-71 course that offers picturesque views. The course opened in 2015 and winds along the Ameca River while views of the Sierra Madres are offered on every hole. It's a course that rewards precision with large landing areas off the tee but the greens are protected by cavernous bunkers, making accuracy a priority.Â
One major surprise the model is calling for at the Mexico Open 2024: Emiliano Grillo, a two-time PGA Tour champion and one of the top favorites, struggles this week and doesn't even crack the top five! Another surprise: Keith Mitchell, a 30-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title. He has a much better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday.Â
Also, the model is targeting THREE other golfers with odds of 30-1 or longer who will make surprising runs at the title! Anyone who backs these golfers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any picks!Â
So who wins the Mexico Open 2024, and which HUGE longshots make a serious run at the title? ... Join SportsLine right now to see who you can bank on to win, and see which longshots make a run at the title, all from the model that's nailed 10 majors, including last year's Masters and Open Championship!Â
