2024 French Open women's odds, picks, best bets from tennis expert

Tennis betting expert Jose Onorato, who is 160-104-8 -- up 97.32 units -- since 2022, reveals his women's picks for the 2024 French Open women's draw

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek will set her sights on a fourth French Open title as she tries to defend her 2023 title at Roland-Garros. Swiatek could face four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka in the second round, with the pair splitting their two previous meetings. Swiatek has a sparkling 28-2 lifetime record in this event, and she is the -160 (risk $160 to win $100) favorite in the 2024 French Open odds. Some of the other French Open contenders include Aryna Sabalenka (+500), Coco Gauff (+850) and Elena Rybakina (+1100).

Before you make any French Open picks or predictions, you must see the French Open 2024 picks from tennis handicapper Jose Onorato.

Onorato grew up playing competitive tennis in Caracas, Venezuela. After coming to the U.S., he trained with famed coach Nick Bollettieri at IMG Academy in Florida and faced players like Robert Farah, now one of the world's top-ranked doubles players.

Onorato, who holds dual degrees in finance and economics from the University of Miami, does extensive research before placing any tennis bet. He studies current form, players' tendencies on a particular surface, weather conditions and many other relevant factors. That systematic approach helped Onorato go 160-104-8 -- up 97.32 units -- since 2022.

Now, Onorato has broken down the latest odds for the women's draw of the 2024 French Open and has identified his futures plays.

One surprise: Onorato is high on Coco Gauff, even though she is a +850 longshot. "Ranked 10th in the world, Gauff's performances on clay have been particularly impressive, with deep runs in several tournaments this season. Her tenacity and skill make her a dark horse who could surprise many by advancing deep into the second week of the competition," Onorato told SportsLine.

Onorato has thoroughly studied the women's draw and has identified three more futures plays, including one on a longshot who would pay more than 20-1. You ABSOLUTELY need to see what they are before locking in any 2024 French Open picks of your own!
