2024 College football betting strategy: Proven expert shares top situational spots for Week 6

SportsLine college football analyst Josh Nagel has revealed his top spot play for Week 6 of the 2024 college football season

In Week 5, we hit our lone released situational play as Northern Illinois (-6.5) covered the spread in a 24-17 victory over Northern Illinois. Getting the best of the number paid off as many bettors pushed on -7 and some Northern Illinois bettors cashed as well, because +7.5 was available at some outlets Saturday morning before kickoff.

The Wolfpack had numerous chances to pull away in the second half, but a handful of miscues allowed the stubborn Huskies to keep it a one-score game. Even so, we'll take the victory by a half point and move forward to the top situational plays for Week 6 of the 2024 college football season.

For Week 6 of the 2024 college football season, there are a couple of situational spots we have identified that appear favorable but one that stands out above the rest. We might add another play or two in this space later this week, but for now we'll reveal the top play below.
