Last week, we hit our top situational play on Fresno State (-2.5) against Colorado State to move to 9-4 on the season on our top-rated situational plays for the 2024 college football season in this space with our third consecutive victory. The Bulldogs prevailed 28-22 to cover the number and earn us the ATS victory. 

Needing a win to become bowl eligible, the Bulldogs predictably came out strong and built a 28-7 lead over the flat Rams at halftime. However, a conservative second-half approach nearly backfired as Fresno State went scoreless in the second half while Colorado State, with a potential berth in the MWC title game at stake, battled back to make it respectable. But the Bulldogs secured a late onside kick to preserve the win. 

For Week 14 of the 2024 college football season, we are locking in on a program in a rivalry matchup that  should have additional motivation based on recent developments.
