2024 College football betting strategy: Proven expert shares top situational spots for Week 12

SportsLine college football analyst Josh Nagel has revealed his top spot play for Week 12 of the 2024 college football season

Last week, we hit our top situational play on Navy (-2.5) against South Florida to move to 7-4 on the season on our top-rated situational plays for the 2024 college football season in this space. The Midshipmen, who won 28-7, scored on their first drive and turned a South Florida turnover into another touchdown for a 14-0 lead from which they never looked back.

The Bulls scored a late touchdown to avoid the shutout, but the Midshipmen dominated wire to wire. They piled up 321 rushing yards to 60 for South Florida, while their defense also took advantage of three forced turnovers.

For Week 12 of the 2024 college football season, there are a couple of situational spots we have identified that appear favorable. We're going with a Friday night special for our first play, and may add another as warranted.
