The Virginia Tech Hokies make their first Final Four appearance when they take on the LSU Tigers in the 2023 Women's NCAA Tournament on Friday. Virginia Tech never had gotten past the Sweet 16 until this year as it knocked off Tennessee before defeating Ohio State in the Elite Eight. LSU rolled past Miami on Sunday to reach the Final Four for the sixth time in program history and first since a five-year run from 2004-08.

Kitley recorded 25 points and 12 rebounds for her program-record 56th double-double, while Amoore eclipsed the 20-point mark for the sixth straight game with 24.
