2023 Utah Utes win total betting strategy: Cameron Rising could lead dangerous Utes team to another Pac-12 title, but health will be key
The Rodney Dangerfield of the Pac-12, if not all of college football? Try Utes head coach Kyle Whittingham, who even after winning the conference in back-to-back seasons is taking the back seat to a variety of usual suspects like USC, Oregon, and now Washington, all with lower prices in the loop title handicap. No respect, indeed! Whittingham, however, has seemed to flourish when flying a bit under the radar throughout his entire career in Salt Lake City, where he took over the top spot in 2005 after serving as the defensive coordinator for Urban Meyer, who moved to Florida. A byproduct in recent years has been the rumor mill churning prior to each of the last two Rose Bowls, with reports that Whittingham might be ready to call it quits if Utah won, though we'll never know if that was indeed so after the Utes lost both of those games in Pasadena. For now, to the relief of the Utah fan base, Whittingham remains in the fold as the unquestioned dean of Pac-12 coaches in his 19th season...
