2020 Minnesota Twins Preview: Projected rotation, starting lineup, prospects, win total
Minnesota Twins
2019 record: 101-61
Record in one-run games: 23-12
O/U win total from Willam Hill: 91.5
Key Additions: Josh Donaldson, Kenta Maeda, Jhoulys Chacin, Rich Hill, Homer Bailey
Key Losses: Martin Perez, Kyle Gibson
The Twins made headlines this offseason for landing Josh Donaldson on a big four-year contract. They also made moves to bolster their starting pitching depth with the addition of Kenta Maeda, Jhoulys Chacin, Rich Hill, and Homer Bailey to offset the losses of Martin Perez and Kyle Gibson.
Projected Rotation
1) Jose Berrios
2) Jake Odorizzi
3) Kenta Maeda
4) Michael Pineda
5) Homer Bailey/Rich Hill/Jhoulys Chacin
The Twins made moves in adding Maeda and Bailey/Hill/Chacin to battle it out for the fifth starter role. Whoever doesn't make the team will most likely start in the bullpen and slide into the starting rotation in case of injury. Although the Twins don't have the best talent at the top of their rotation, Minnesota does have a lot of Major League experience.

This is a daunting Twins lineup that set the record for home runs in a season last year. They are returning all their position player starters from the 2019 season and enter the campaign at full health. Minnesota has plenty of bench depth and versatility, along with Major League-ready prospects in Royce Lewis, Alex Kiriloff and Trevor Larnach set for their debuts.
