The Tar Heels snapped a four-game skid last week with their best performance of the season in a 41-14 road win over Virginia. Their oft-maligned defense held Virginia to 288 yards and they forced two turnovers and an efficient offense racked up 24 first-half points on their way to a romp. Downtrodden Florida State put up a fight against rival Miami but the Seminoles just lack the personnel to compete with upper-tier teams. North Carolina still has a bowl bid in sight and should build on last week’s performance with another win.
