Anything can happen in mid-week MACtion matchups, but I don't see any surprises in this one. Miami-OH is the better team on both sides of the ball and has one of the best G5 defenses in college football. I have a hard time seeing Buffalo scoring enough points to cover this spread. I'm laying the 7.5 points.
Miami/Ohio is simply better on both sides of the ball and playing at home. They might win this game by 3 TDS. True they have a backup QB but he has experience. Go with the home team
With a couple of exceptions, Buffalo's offense simply hasn't been able to get the Bulls over the hump this season. Reduced rushing production has put too much pressure on former Rutgers transfer QB Cole Snyder, and the Bulls have already missed out on bowl eligibility. It's a bad combo to go against a focused Miami-O side with arguably the MAC's best defense and in pole position to win the MAC East in the last furlong of the regular season. Play Miami-O
Almost the entirety of the season, Buffalo has been betrayed by its offense, unable to balance things as well as recent campaigns due mostly to a downgraded rushing attack that has heaped too much pressure on QB Cole Snyder. That's not good against a gnarly Miami-O side with arguably the MAC's best defense, and Chuck Martin's RedHawks offense won't have to take many risks with the defense bossing the action. Play Buffalo- Miami O Under
