The Rams have struggled mightily on both sides of the ball this season and this week's matchup with Nevada may not provide any relief. It isn't that the Wolf Pack are dominant in any particular way, but other than the game against Iowa, they have been able to score reliably. Colorado State's offense cannot seem to get off the ground this season. I like Nevada at home by more than simply home field advantage.
Both these teams stink but Colorado State does more. Plus, the Nevada players are going to be massively fired up to win because their former coach, Jay Norvell, shockingly left in a lateral move after last season to Colorado State. In fact, he was the first sitting Mountain West head coach to leave one school for another. The Rams also likely will be without starting QB Clay Millen and have been losing guys left and right to the transfer portal.
