    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

Clemson still has a shot to reach the ACC title game ... not a great one but it's there. Why do I take the moneyline instead of the spread at times? To avoid bad beats like as what happened in the Tigers' game against Florida State last Saturday when Clemson only covered on a fumble return TD as time expired (so bad beat for FSU backers). I'm pretty sure that Clemson will beat Louisville, which recently lost one of the ACC's top cornerbacks to a season-ending injury, but not sure at all it will cover -4.
