Middle Tennessee isn't getting enough credit in this spot. It's played a much tougher schedule than Charlotte this season, and I view the loss of starting QB Bailey Hockman to be good news for the Raiders, not bad. Hockman's lack of passing ability made it easy for opposing defenses to stack the box against this office. Meanwhile, Charlotte's coming off a loss to Georgia State and getting far too much credit for a win over a bad Duke team earlier this season.

A nice spot here for Charlotte bettors as we catch the 49ers on a bounce back week against a Middle Tennessee State team on its third straight road game. This trip hasn't been pretty for the Blue Raiders of Murfreesboro, averaging a mere 13.5 points in both contests and catching double-digit losses back-to-back...including last week's loss to Texas San Antonio where they rushed for a mere eight yards in the game. Yes, eight. In fact, MTSU hasn't rushed for over 90+ yards as a team in a single game this season. A good "get-right" game for Charlotte on both sides of the ball, 49ers big Friday night.
