Illinois has been dealing with multiple illnesses for multiple weeks and it's taken a toll, showing up in the loss column but also more specifically in the defensive results. Five of Illinois' six worst games in terms of raw defensive efficiency have been in the last two weeks, and with Morez Johnson out there's a real absence of bodies to deal with Duke's size inside. Illinois will try to pace which should increase possessions, but with Duke's offensive prowess that's only going to lead to more points for Cooper Flagg and the Blue Devils.
