I'm taking the Marquette ML here because I think it's a good matchup and they win the game. I also parlayed the Golden Eagles with San Jose State. Xavier suffered a huge loss when Zach Freemantle injured his knee late against Cincinnati. Freemantle was averaging 16.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game and Xavier's offense ran through the 6-9 senior. The Musketeers played well in their first game without Freemantle, taking UConn to overtime. But that was a good matchup for them. Marquette doesn't foul much and guards the perimeter much better than UConn. The Golden Eagles are 7-3 in its last 10 games vs. Xavier. I like that trend to continue. I would also consider the spread if it gets to -4. Happy Holidays!
