    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Thomas's Analysis:

I took Kentucky on Saturday over Alabama and noted the Tide struggle away from home against good teams. That's still the case as Bama got blown out. However, Ole Miss isn't in the same class as Kentucky, Tennessee and Auburn. The Tide have won SEC road games over mediocre teams and I think that continues on Wednesday. Alabama has a big edge offensively in this matchup. The Tide attempt the 12th most three-pointers per game in CBB. That's bad news for an Ole Miss defense that ranks last in the SEC at defending the three. If Alabama is hitting outside shots and can avoid a bunch of turnovers, the Tide should win their third straight game at Ole Miss by double digits.
