Syracuse has won the last six meetings. The Wolfpack are 3-5 SU in its last eight games and lost the first meeting between these two on the road by 12-points. NC State has the more experienced team but production from their deep bench, relying heavily on the three. Despite holding opponents to 67 points per game at home, the Wolfpack are vulnerable on defense especially at guard, where Syracuse found success in the first game. Both teams are similar from an offensive standpoint, but NC State’s offense often can go stagnant longer than usual.
