Currently on a seven-game win streak, we'd say South Carolina has well-established chops for a double-digit underdog even before mentioning the Gamecocks are 9-1 getting points this season. Defense keeps SC in every game (64 ppg allowed ranks 15th nationally), but it has been deft work in the portal by 2nd-year HC Lamont Paris, that brought rugged 6-8, 270-lb PF BJ Mack (via Wofford; 13.6 ppg) and do-it-all 6-6 wing Myles Stute (via Vandy) to Columbia that has rounded out the SC roster. True, Auburn hasn't lost yet at home this season, but the Tigers haven't reacted well when their running game is slowed, which was the case in three recent defeats on the SEC trail. Play SC
