Indifferent form by Vegas has endured far too long to be simply considered a blip on the radar screen. After walloping the Avs 7-0 back on November 4, the holders stood 11-0-1; since then, Vegas is a mediocre 22-21-6, and hits Columbus having lost five of six, and leaking goals whether it's Adin Hill (scheduled to start tonight) or Logan Thompson (burned for seven at Buffalo on Saturday) in the nets. There's a case for the Blue Jackets, who did just beat the Rangers at home last Sunday, and off of a 5-2 win over Chicago, but the way goals are flying into the net in VGK games, a seventh straight Vegas "over" tempts even more.
