2020 NFL win totals: Action heavy on Cleveland Browns under 8.5 victories

Bettors at William Hill are not bullish on the Cleveland Browns going Over 8.5 wins this season.

No team in the NFL took more action to win the Super Bowl before last season than the Cleveland Browns. However, Cleveland was largely a train wreck as quarterback Baker Mayfield regressed, receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had his worst season and Coach Freddie Kitchens reportedly lost the locker room – which would end up costing Kitchens his job after just one season.

The Browns are one of four active franchises to never play in a Super Bowl along with the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions. The Browns have the longest playoff drought in the league as well, not playing extra football since 2002.

Bettors at William Hill sportsbook clearly aren't expecting great things this year, either, as no team overall is taking a bigger lean Under its win total than the Browns are at 8.5 victories. A total of 67 percent of all Over-Under tickets sold on Cleveland are on the Under as is 82 percent of all money. Interesting as most would agree the Browns did well in free agency in signing Atlanta tight end Austin Hooper and Tennessee offensive tackle Jack Conklin, among others.

Cleveland's AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens are tied for the highest win total at William Hill with 11.5 victories along with Kansas City, but 75 percent of all tickets sold on the Ravens have been to the Under. Lamar Jackson & Co. led the league with 14 wins last year before being upset at home by the Titans in the Divisional Round.

The Green Bay Packers won 13 games in 2019 and are given a total of 10 for this year, but 93 percent of all money wagered on the Packers is Under. Tom Brady's new team, the Bucs, has a total of 9 but 79 percent of the money is on Under. The Bucs have the NFC's longest playoff drought, last making it in 2007.
