By now it is apparent that Sean McVay has not been putting too much emphasis on preseason results the past few years. Losses in 10 of the last 11 in August suggest as much as the Rams are further knocked by injuries along the OL as well as at WR, where star Puka Nacua looks to be absent. Those roster shortcomings were an issue in last week's scrimmaging as the Dallas defensive front dominated, and even with Dak Prescott almost surely out later today, this might be the night where Trey Lance really shines and shows us what is possible for him in the future.
