While we have little doubt that new add Jrue Holiday will prove an easy fit in the Celtics' lineup, we are less sure about the addition of Kristaps Porzingis to play alongside Al Horford on the frontline. At the outset, at least, mixing these new pieces around the Jayson Tatum/Jaylen Brown axis in Beantown might take a bit of time. The crafty Tom Thibodeau and his variety of defensive schemes for the Knicks could jam the gearbox on the Celtics offense...at least in October. Play Celtics-Knicks Under

Always a great rivalry game. Last year the Celtics were the second best defense in the NBA. The Knicks ranked 19th on the defensive end which is hard for me to fathom with Tom Thibodeau as their head coach. I'm looking for a better defensive team in 2023-24.
