We can hardly guess what is going to be the top-rated TV show in Japan across the next 24 hours. It often is a Dodger game featuring Shohei Ohtani, but add tonight the two Japanese starting pitchers (Shota Imanaga and Yoshinobu Yamamoto) and Cubs-Dodgers is a TV ratings bonanza back home. As for Yamamoto, he's been on the shelf for almost three months with a triceps injury, so we'll see how long he'll be available. What we do know is Cubs counterpart Imanaga is off a brilliant effort vs. Pittsburgh when doing the bulk of the work (seven innings) in a combined no-hitter last week vs. the Bucs, as Chicago still maintains an NL wild card pulse.
