The Dodgers took Friday night's game with Freddie Freeman returning to Atlanta, but I like the Braves to bounce back on Saturday. Lefty Max Fried takes the ball for the Braves and while it's not nearly as extreme as it used to be, the Dodgers still hit lefties worse than righties. Fried is having an excellent season and dominated the Dodgers back in April. The back-end trio of Will Smith, A.J. Minter and Kenley Jansen wasn't used Friday, either, so the Braves have a reliable pitching framework. The Dodgers are bringing up Mitch White to take the start in front of a thin bullpen.
Replaying this at the line that's available, because what's the point of making a play on here if yall cant follow it? The Braves just weren’t able to mount anything in Game 1 of this series, very unlike them after their past few weeks. However, the Braves have their ace in Max Fried going Saturday. He pitched seven scoreless against the Dodgers earlier this season and if you’re going to beat the Dodgers, you need a lefty. Mitchell White is starting for the Dodgers, and he has been decent, but he has also only made four starts this season. He also allowed a run in just 2 IP against the Braves earlier this season. The Braves also have the much better bullpen, I like the Braves at home. Remember, I always list my pitchers, so if this line changes for that reason tomorrow I will reevaluate. But with this pitching matchup and line, I like the Braves.
