Wyoming vs. Air Force odds, line: Proven model reveals college basketball picks for Jan. 28, 2022, Mountain West Conference matchup

SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Friday's Mountain West Conference game between the Wyoming Cowboys and Air Force Falcons

The Wyoming Cowboys will look to get back on track when they take on the Air Force Falcons in Mountain West Conference action on Friday. The Cowboys (15-3, 4-1) had a six-game winning streak stopped on Tuesday, while the Falcons (10-8, 3-4) have won two of their last three.

Tipoff from Clune Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo., is set for 6 p.m. ET. Wyoming is favored by 7.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is set at 126.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Wyoming vs. Air Force picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model knows the Cowboys have four players averaging in double-digit scoring, led by sophomore forward Graham Ike. Ike is averaging 20.5 points, which is first in the Mountain West and 15th nationally, and 8.9 rebounds, fourth in the conference. He has scored in double figures in all 17 games he has played, including nine games of 20 points or more. He scored a season-high 35 points in a 77-64 win over Denver on Dec. 2. He has also registered seven double-doubles.

The model also knows the Falcons are led by senior guard A.J. Walker, who has reached double-digit scoring 13 times this season, including in each of the last three games. Walker averages 15.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He is connecting on 48.7 percent of his field goals, including 40.2 percent from 3-point range. Walker is coming off a 12-point performance against San Diego State on Tuesday. He has scored a season-high 27 points twice, the last time coming in a 66-65 win over Denver on Nov. 24.
