After the final international break until March, action really heats up before the winter holidays, and there are some huge matches this weekend. There are battles for the league lead in both the English Premier League and Italy's Serie A, where the top six could see a big shake-up. Premier League leader Manchester City host second-place Liverpool on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET, with City holding a one-point lead in the table. Inter Milan are up by two points on Juventus and head to Turin for the Derby d'Italia on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. ET. Saturday's Serie A action includes No. 5 Atalanta vs. fourth-place Napoli (noon ET) and third-place AC Milan vs. No. 6 Fiorentina (2:45 p.m. ET). EPL fourth-place side Tottenham host No. 5 Aston Villa at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday.

Manchester City are tough to beat at Etihad Stadium and are -145 favorites in the latest Man City vs. Liverpool odds. The Reds are +340 underdogs and a draw is priced at +320.
